I have had an awful few days, which is particularly concerning since I am playing a Korfball match on Sunday and it needs to be in good shape going into that.
My high glucose alarm went off at about 1am and the reading was 13.7, and I have three units. When I woke up at 6:30 it was 9.9 and I gave one unit and did my basal as well.
I had breakfast at Caffe Nero and calculated my meal to be 11CPs. My reading was 12.0 and I had given 13 units 20 minutes before in preparation: that's a 1:1 ratio with two units of correction.
It went up to about 14 but then started trending down so I thought thing would get back into single figures. Once it got to 11.3, it stopped going down and is now going back up. Now it's 13.0. How is this possible? I haven't eaten or drank anything else and I had a 10-minute walk from Caffe Nero to work, so that should have helped a tiny bit.
