Same weather here, I'm in West Midlands, Sutton, I'm wearing cardi also gone cold last few days, good day to you toogood afternoon
It's a changeable day here in the West Midlands. Sun one minute then cloudy the next. Not sure how cold it is as I havent been outside yet. The kitchen and bathroom windows are open but I'm opposite side of the house with a huge cardigan on.
I am supposed to be going out so no doubt I'll find out what it's like.
Have a good day all
Glad you enjoyed your evening out liamJust to say, that I had a lovely evening meal out with 'old' friends and I ate sensibly = mostly vegetables and only 1 small Yorkshire Pudding. And.... wait for it = No Dessert at all.William.

Hi thanks, Ive suffered with Ibs for many years, but I was put on metformin SR about 10 days ago & bgs gone up, I think stomache pain is side effects of the SR metformin, trying to get to see a doctor is difficult but when your diabetic it's hopeless, I'm seriously thinking of changing my doctor & going to another surgery, I wasn't gonna have flu jab this year as I was ill for months after having it last year but doctor was pushing for me to have it, certainly won't have it next year. Yes I drink peppermint tea I really like it & cammoline tea, thanks again hope your well & having a good eveningHiya
I lived in Kings Heath for 30 years then upped sticks and lived in Swansea for 5 years. I then decided the Midlands were calling my name so I ended up in Dudley (not far from the zoo).
And sorry to hear you're feeling so unwell. The flu jab can make people poorly, perhaps have a word with your GP and see what they advise for next year. As for the stomach ache I'm not sure if that is flu jab related but might be best speaking to a pharmacist see if they have anything you could take. I suffer with irritable bowel syndrome so I can appreciate stomach ache isnt fun. Chamomile tea is supposed to be good and can be picked up in major supermarkets. Peppermint tea is also good but the taste gets some getting used to. And a hot water bottle can work wonders.
Let me know how you're feeling

Our surgery switched to the online service back in June likes you say great way to get same-day appointments with our you can book from 7am and there is a app you can downloadHiya
Our doctors surgery are part of the new Govt scheme where you have an online account for making appointments are repeat prescriptions. Perhaps see if your surgery offer something similar and then join up. It's a way of beating the queues and the endless phonecalls trying to get an appointment. Or ask if your surgery do 'pre-bookables' where your appointment is made for a few days in advance. Some surgeries seem to be behind the times. Good luck it does sound like your new med may be causing you problems and therefore you may need something different. Not all meds suit everyone.
I think our surgery just has to many patients, I don't use laptop anymore had trouble with people trying to hack it so I don't use anymore & since eye ops find glare on screen a problem, I have to use magnifying glasses to use my phone now. So just see how it goes. Hope your wellHiya
