Good afternoon how is everyone? I've been swimming. Did 40 minutes but only 25 lengths. I think the panorama is great for people like me , who are just getting back on track with their diet. It really gave me a fright even though I knew about the possible effects of uncontrolled diabetes. @Liam1955 your posts are brilliant. You have a message for everyone:)

@Cumberland - Hi Ian :). If you are not blood thirsty and/or like gory details? = Don't watch the Panarama programme. But it is interesting to watch, maybe get your Wife to watch it first? (I believe your Wife is a Nurse?) I just love watching Blood, Guts and Gore etc :D
@ickihun - Vicky, I understand that Women will go to the extreme's to have a Baby. I have met You and You are such a kind, caring and lovable but crazy person - but, that's why we get on!:D As to the Bariatric Surgery, when it's done there is no going back. But, the woman on the programme it worked for her. Would you Vicky seriously have the Surgery?
Agree with you @tina_marie - like it 'Circus Clowns' :D:D = must remember to think that when I am getting a Lecture from a Medical Person next time.
How is @mo53 and @ellagy this afternoon?
And how is @eldergarth - Ron today? Now that the Clonazepam has been increased how are you feeling?

Yes Mrs Cumbs is a nurse and I come from Psych Nursing background

I'm still undecided whether to watch it
I am a big baby really lol

Blood guts and gore err oh dear
Pee and pooh I can cope with

Hello Maureen, Has the itching stopped? And the Metformin settling down now?
Shhhh. No itching at the moment, spoke to pharmastist today whos well informed in diabetes, said SR is the best to be on, said it keeps bgs balanced cos it's released slowly not like bog standard which releases quick , said She thinks I should be taking gliclazide at night cos of my 8.6's in the mornings, every morning since stopped gliclazide at night, Also said hot flushes & sweats at night shows diabetes not under control which is opposite to what I was told, suggested I change dctr, & to insist on getting more help & advice as diabetes is a serious health problem which has to be controlled. So tonight & tomorrow I won't take my gliclazide as told, but if it's still in 8's I'll try gliclazide again & see how it goes, SR makes sense really it's slowly released so it's keeping bgs steady all time as bog standard release fully in 2/3 hours, SR is supposed to be stomache friendly also less tummy upset. You ok? Sorry just noticed its long txt!

@ liam1955. Morning all, Liam had few mins itch last night nothink to talk about, but one thing I've noticed with SR, don't seem to get, difficult to explain but feel better, as it's slow releasing haven't had any hunger pains, feeling of unease as if it's time to eat, bit more relaxed, bg 7.1 this morning not the best but was 8.6 yesterday morning so hopefully it's starting to take effect, see how I go in next couple days, I'd like to talk with doctor about meds but impossible to get appiontment or really any answers have great day everyone
