That's good news about the house!Afternoon everyone. Ron's taking a nap. Seems everytime we go out and he's walking around his spine and hips give him trouble . Our son gave us some good news this morning seems his boss is interested in buying our house . Our son was surprised just how bad Ron is at not being able to carry much due to weight . He can only carry very light items .
Afternoon William how you doing .Good Afternoon Folks
Hope everyone is enjoying their day.
That's a good Avatar @mist - where is Andover?
Anywhere really as long as no stairs and easy access for Ron. He really struggles with stairs , hills and slopes.Hi @tina_marie - Little bit under the weather today, so I am doing nothing except laid on the sofa watching TV.
Where abouts are You and Ron thinking of moving to?

Having flu jab wednesday and toddler having the sniff, sniff one. Feeling rough but I'm not surprised, I had a nasty hypo at mid-day in bed as returned to bed after school run with no breakfast. My first hypo for ages. A bad one too. Chocolate rice crispies only solution. Mislaid my glucose tabs and got confused as to where I'd put them.
Not enjoying this cold, wet weather.Wet clothes hanging around too much today. May have to go on radiators, after all.
Hope @Liam1955 feels better soon. Nasty weather is culprit.
I'm left with a stonking headache but levelled back up ok. I've put heating on to dry clothes now. Should get cosy soon. Looking forward to closing curtains tonight and cosying in with kids. 9yr old at school friends for tea for now. Done enough today to warrant a calm evening. Soaps are heavy going at the moment. Are you OK now @ickihun
Hello, I'm new to this chat, a newbie to this forum, How lovely and chatty. Feels very cosy. I've just got back from a 3 day trip down to Herts to visit Mother in law and mum (we live in Grimsby), so a bit weary. Happy to be home.
Mist, just seen your post re: Alcohol treatment. I had a similar experience with the drug which replaces the alcohol. In my case I was hospitalised from a fall, they underestimated the dosage I would need, and to cut a long story short I started to hallucinate that the "moonies" were trying to keep me in hospital and brain wash me. I bolted . Funny now, not so much then!!!
Anyway, I survived that and 3 weeks of meds and never looked back. Everyone has said I don't need a drink, I'm crackers without one!
