GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING.

Good Afternoon Folks.
Been lazy really today, laid on sofa and watching TV **** and even fell asleep for an hour - just proves how riveting the programmes were! Off into the kitchen with my 'Broken' Back to rustle up something for evening meal. R is in the garden and it is dark here in York - don't know what he is doing out there? = probably saying good night to his plants!!!:D:D

Afternoon all @Liam1955 @13lizanne @ickihun @debrasue @diamum just got back from the docs only took half hour to walk about 3/4 mile doctor still not received letter from pain clinic so going to ring me when he has to let me know about new meds and when I can have them being referred to neurologist at QMC for a full screening so it's the waiting game again waiting for occupational health waiting for dermatology and now neurology again it's all fun who said life is dull

What about the pain meds Ron? Are you still going to wean yourself off the meds you are on just now or, keep taking them until your hear from your GP?,

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear this, Ron - 2016 really has been a cr*ppy year for you, hasn't it?
Sending big hugs and sincere wishes that they get their collective fingers out and resolve this terrible situation for you. xx

Have to wean of them Anne pain doc told me can't take any other pain meds with new ones and as ones I'm on are addictive have to reduce them first

Thanks Debs yeah your right this year has certainly been a life changer the walk to my docs used to take me about 4 min that's how close we are to the docs so by mine and Tina's reckoning will be in wheel chair by February at this rate

Possibly sooner than that if they keep messing about much longer. Have lost all faith in gps , hospitals and the like. I for one will be using alternative therapies .

Yes, I understand Ron I was asking what you will do if you wean off of the meds and your GP doesn't have the protocol for the new meds, surely you won't be left without any pain relief?

Sorry Anne misunderstood your question dropping all pain relief I was taking 14 tablets a day for pain dropping it to 6 a day by weekend touch wood

Were not sure when it will start . Hope it's soon though he's in absolute agony , walking dead out of the question tonight .x

@eldergarth - I am shocked Ron that the GP expects you to be weaned off your present drugs, but has not given you something temporary for the pain until you start the New Drugs. = Thats Bizarre!!!
I've got Tramadol and Pregabalin to take to get me off the Morphine, and the 2 drugs I have mentioned - they were 2 drugs that got stopped only a month ago at my last medication review.
I do so hope that the referrals are not too long a wait. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Take Care Mate. William:)

Thanks William but because the doc hasn't received the new instructions from the pain clinic he is still in the dark so can't do anything he is going to ring me as soon as he received the letter and tell me when can pick up new meds

Thinking of you both @tina_marie and @eldergarth . ♡
I wish I could take the pain away for you Ron :( I'm hoping your medics can sort themselves out, and fast. Any joy with MP pressure?
Thanks Vicky it seems that with the help of the pain clinic doc we may start getting somewhere (everything crossed) he was very shocked that I was discharged and how I've been treated

@Liam1955. Glad to see your bgs coming down, hope your feeling better, if you don't mind me asking Liam did you go back on to bog standard metformin ?
