Hi all , Ron's been to hospital today for his cardiology appointment. Ecg showed that he was slightly tachycardic but no angina as first thought. In fact doctor doesn't know what he's got . Ron had blood test which we waited half an hour for results but they weren't ready so told doctor we were leaving as not prepared to sit around all day and wait . We had already been in hospital two hours .

Have they not arranged some scans hun?

Call appointments tomorrow to see If any new appointments? Mind u they will write if they need him. Or they'll call again.

To rule out any infection as he had pleurisy at Christmas , it may have come back. Over the last few days Ron has had nose trouble again. He blows his nose then it doesn't stop running also there has been blood present as well. He had this trouble last summer when he was given a nasal spray. Still not heard anything back from Queens been over two weeks now .

I've been given a sharp appointment for to see consultant, this wednesday. Endo. It says review on request for appointment booking. I'll see what he says about been referred for bariatric surgery too. I'm hoping he will check hormones for high blood pressure, palpatations and twitches.
 
Good Evening Folks :),
Had an 'active' afternoon = pushing a pram with Baby Florence for almost 3 hours around a shopping complex, in and out of shops looking at stuff. Whilst R and Daughter did a 'stress free shop' and ordered Roast Hams, Salmon and Square Pork Pies, for the Christening Buffet on Palm Sunday.
I thoroughly enjoyed my part of the agreement! Think I got the better deal = no food shopping is ever stress free, well for me!!
Amazing just by having a Pram and a Baby the number of older/middle age women actually conversed with me which was really lovely. (But, R always tells me not talk to people I don't know) Was even told there was a family resemblance!!! It was far easier not to go into family ancestry!!
Only problem was? Never put Sun factor on my 'bald head' = never expected the Sun to show today. Had an enjoyable afternoon :).

I'm so glad you had a lovely time with Florence to yourself. I'll bet she's growing fast...
Yes, having a baby, a toddler or a puppy is a sure-fire way to get chatting to "ladies of a certain age". We are a pushover for them! :joyful:

How nice to have Florence all to yourself whilst father and daughter sorted the food for buffet. Hope the christening goes smoothly and you all have a lovely day,give my best to the proud grandfather.LOL Kathleen

It went really well. He is delighted with hba1c of 59. He is reducing my thyroxine to 175 from 200. He said maybe influencing palpatations but I'm only a little bit too high. We'll see what happens. If weight loss stalls and palpatations no different I'll ask to go back on 200. Had a blood test for adrenalin to be tested as pulse in rest was 93. Seeing gp tomorrow for another check up on pulse and blood pressure.
Said yes to bariatric surgery waiting list.
Starting new insulin next week. Tresiba and nova rapid instead of mixed humulin.
Wow. It's all go. Again! :woot:
