Hi Everyone, Firstly please accept my apoligise if i have posted this in the wrong place. Secondly let me introduce my self, My name is Mark Adams, i am 29 years old and i am from Darlington in County Durham. So what is the purpose of my post, come on just get on with it i here you say :D , ok here we go.

I was approached by a man Called John Carter about 6 weeks ago at a football match, he knows a friend of mine and knows we both have a keen interest in moutain biking. He explained to us that he recently found out that his 12 Year old daughter had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, being over whelmed by the support he and his family had recieved through the local diabetes specialist (Chirs Kirby) he decieded that he would like to give something back to the charity. His Daughter had initialy suggested Kilimanjaro but the suggestion alone left John breathless, a compromise was reached and the London 2 Paris cycle challenge was agreed on. John has never been in to cycling but had his mind set on giving something back. After this conversation myself and my friend (Barry Bell) felt we had no option but to support John with this challenge.

Right now to get to the reason i am here, if you would kindly take 5 minutes of your time to visit the website mentioned above and possibly donate to our challenge i would really appriciate it, anything is welcome, please dont be affraid to donate even as little as 50p, it all goes to a good cause. We have a few fundraising events in the pipe line, 1 being a pig racing afternoon July 11th, the local Joe Rigatoni's have kindly offered us there facilities to host this event where we are hoping to have an auction at the same time with givft donated by other local small business's, if you would more details on this event please do not hesitate to reply to this post.

Thank you so much in advance.

Mark Adams.
