What is a good fasting blood sugar level for type 2

It should be between 5 and 7 mmol ideally but be aware that fasting tests are not of great use due to the overnight liver dump. Better to test 2 hours after a typical meal.

Hi @Ayo1302 and welcome to the forum.
Personally even as a type 2 I like to aim for non diabetic levels so 5.4 or under. You might find this page useful:
