Looks like another hot day to come.
Had a very busy weekend with friends and my sister & BIL are arriving today for a few days visit.

19/6 - Good Morning from a very hot York. Hope everybody is well and enjoy the day. :)
Having problems getting on this Forum this morning!!:banghead:
 
Relaxing this morning with very active 4yr old and a new drone. Well sort of relaxing! Ha ha
We have a meeting this afternoon then the remaining part of the day is hopefully free.
Have a very very busy day tomorrow so relaxation before 3 walk outs again.
Ooops! Theyve lost the drone. Have to go and help find it. Men! Even little ones cause havoc.

It was hot yesterday & it's going to be hot today
Was busy in work all day yesterday but I had the air con on all day so it was nice & cool
Sister & BIL arrived yesterday, not sure when they're leaving :eek:

Good morning everyone. Been awake since 3.20am can't sleep for the heat. Hubby and I sitting downstairs, drinking tea at 5am. This from the woman who sleeps for 7-8hrs every night normally, I'm sure that many of us are suffering in the same way :) how are you today @JohnEGreen ? Did you manage to sleep last night?
 
I'm running my bgs a little higher to get that tired feeling to help with sleep. I don't recommend it but it is definitely working for me. Only downside is sweating again in sleep and not due to heat but higher bgs. I'm keeping very hydrated throughout the day.
This bad weather will soon be gone and we can all get back to our excellent bgs.
I wonder how @PenfoldAPD is coping? Too quiet for me. Hope he posts no matter his bgs. We are all struggling in this heat!
My blood pressure is taking a big knock with the heat as little one distressed too. So more cool baths and later in the day paddling pools for him is a help.
Have a cooler day today for most.
Those cooler sprays are great too. Magicool my fav.

A lot cooler morning today . Ron's got to have a blood test later today and a check on his bp. Will be interesting to see what his Hba1c comes back as. At last check it was 50.
 
20/6 - Good Morning from a much cooler and no Sun York - looks like it might Rain? :)
Had no Electric's or internet for the last 4 hours, now I can have a Coffee.

Longest day of the year and the weatherman says it could get to mid 30s today but I'll be nice & cool in my air con'd office :D

It was very warm and sunny this morning but going a bit grey out there now.
Going for a meal with visiting sister & BIL tonight before they head home tomorrow :D

Morning all, bit late posting but we've been to see gp. Ron's hba1c is down from 50 to 46. She is making him an appointment for the memory clinic as short term memory is causing problems before he goes he has to do a fasting blood test . It could be that the problems are caused by the medication he takes but we don't know for certain. She did mention about statins as Ron's cholesterol is 5.7 but Ron told her that it's one of the medications he refuses to take .

Had a wonderful meal courtesy of my sister & BIL last night, I was good and had a chicken salad :angelic: but that was after the calamari :D.
They are heading home today :) a few days with my BIL is enough :D

23/6 - Good Morning from a dark grey sky in York, looks like we may have a thunderstorm and downpour??

Our morning walk was in soft summer rain today. Everything smelled so fresh and green, the only downside was when the breeze shook the raindrops from the trees and we were soaked :)
