Good Morning

Morning all, it's still too muggy and I'm still bunged up with this cold. Come on thunderstorm, hurry up!
 
8/6/16 = Good Morning. From another hot and sunny day in York. We never got the Rain and storm yesterday - Hope we do today? Hope everyone is in good health and enjoy your day.:)
 
Good morning here from Lancashire well we got the thunderstorms last night lightening as well. It has definitely cleared the air this morning nice and fresh, not sure what today will bring, forecast rain, then hot later. Have a good day.
 
'Morning peeps! Heavy, overcast, 20 degrees and breathlessly still in South Glos this morning. No rain last night and nothing yet today, but it really feels as if it wants to!
@autisticwonder1970 has been very quiet - what's up, Johnny? Hope you're OK and didn't have any problems with the flash flooding in South London yesterday...

It was great fun, thanks, Anna - and the rain didn't materalise. I bought a Black Forest Gateau (as it's the birthday boy's favourite) and we all had to blow the candles, out one after another! (I didn't have any gateau - and my lower lip only trembled a tiny bit as I dished it all out for everyone else!)
I'm glad to hear you're on the mend.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Anna, I'm still sniffly but not as bad as I was. Still decided not to go to my knitting group tonight, we finally got our thunderstorm this afternoon phew! Should make tomorrow's shopping trip more comfortable :)
 
Good morning everyone. A bit cooler here this morning in Central Scotland. Lowest ever fbg of 4.6 for me today, exercise does make a huge difference to my bs levels. So- off for my morning walk :) have a good day everyone

Morning all:) cool and overcast here in Cambridge today. Run completed, brekkie downed, BBC Breakfast digested, ready for the third day of gardening then I'll be back on track...haha:)

What wonderful news...congrats.

Mine was up a bit at 5.8, but I did have a bowl of strawbs with 4g carbs from salted caramel OPPO ice cream:)

Good morning all 5 6 for me this morning thought it may have been higher as had no sleep with this painful shoulder and arm, it is always worse at night as can not get comfortable at all. Roll on this afternoon second physio session. :rolleyes:

Yes thanks Anna, I had a much more comfortable night so I was 6.5 this morning. That rainstorm made all the difference! It's shopping day today so let's see how I feel after a good bit of exercise

Salted caramel ice cream-drool! Four words which spell bliss!
Your fbg is still in the normal range Kevin and we have to be able to have a "treat" sometimes. Unfortunately for me I am extremely carb sensitive, I can't have just a little without immediately wanting more. Just back from my first walk of the day, exhilarating! How was your run today?

Good Morning. Hurrah! It's raining and cooler at last. Off to our local "designer village" today for a mooch around. It was heaven walking in the soft, warm rain this morning. We are sheltered from rain by the trees but every so often the wind disturbs the branches and we get showered with big, fat raindrops. Have a happy healthy day everyone whatever you are doing.

Diagnosed 13/4/16: T2, no meds, HbA1c 53, FBG 12.6, Trigs 3.6, HDL .75, LDL 4.0, BP 169/95, 13st 8lbs, waist 34" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

6/6/16: FBG AV 4.6, Trigs 1.5, HDL 2.0, LDL 3.0, BP 112/68, BPM 66, 11st 11lbs, waist 30".

Regime: 20g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting.
 
Got a doggie to look after this next three days, whilst the kids are off jet setting to Switzerland.

Should be fun:)
