Good Morning

@mo53 - Still waiting for them with my tongue hanging out!!! He has been up at the Allotment for 5 hours, he better not have eaten them all? I will put Senna Granules in his Coffee - :D I am off now to start cooking the Salad!!:) Yes, I've been lazy today, had leg up on the sofa doing my knee exercises, Thanks for asking Mo. Have you had a good day too? William.

@liam1955 yes a good day thank you. A quick trip to town this morning, cooked lunch and then a bit of gardening. How were the strawberries?

Absolutely Yummy - my favourite fruit when in season. R likes Raspberries and when there's a glut of them I make jam and stand for hours with a sieve to get every seed out. This garden of yours I cannot wait for the photos to appear on the Gardenfile. Are you still doing the crossword on a weekend with your friend? How is your sleep doing?

Lol lol as fast as I think a bed oIs finished we decide to change something so it's back to square one!,, and weeds seem to be growing at treble speed!! I like both of those fruits. Ooh your jam sound scrumptious! I wake up for a couple of hours most nights!

Good morning wet and dark skies here in Lancashire this morning. Oh well back to my family history research, going through all the parish registers in the 1500-1600, very interesting and relaxing. :)

Good morning from South Glos, where the sun has got his hat on this morning!
Allegedly, it's going to be nice here today. Let's hope the forecast is correct - it's local Carnival day today and the Tiny Terrorists et al are over for a barbecue tonight, so it promises to be a fun day if the weather holds out.
I hope everyone has a lovely day today with lots of good stuff going on, and I'm sending big hugs to all the poorly peeps with best wishes for speedy recoveries.

Restarted metformin yesterday but no weight loss yet. I'm so impatient!
I don't know if physiological but I feel more energetic and 'normal'. If that's possible. lol
I was on this tablet for 13yrs until my liver stopped processing it.
I'm holding my breath it will work well again.
I'm reintroducing some GI carbs in a structured way. As that was what I used to eat sucessfully, last time.
No fruit this time thou. Blood results show I don't need them.
I need to experiment with salad mixes. I've got veg mixes cemented into my formula and will keep it up.
Cheap salad cream I'm your new best friend. Here we go.
Spring onions, iceburg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, celery, hiccupping cucumber.
What have I missed?
Yellow, red, green peppers. Any suggestions?
I only like iceburg lettuce, no other lettuce... unfortunately.
Does kale go in a salad? Rocket I don't mind or a little spinach.
Ps. I priced up an avocado yesterday. Morrisons had to nearly pick me off the floor. £1.38 for that small purple gem. By the time I take the stone out I'd be wondering if I need to eat the stone to get my monies worth. lol
Good Morning everyone.
As you can see my mind is racing along. Just had my coffee and cream and will have raw porridge in an hour or so.
No fiber needed for me today, if you know what I mean. ;)

I love raw cauliflower with salad. And how about carrot, or radishes, or chicory? You could also make up some coleslaw with that salad cream and a dollop of mayo... Maybe, if you're adding some low GI carbs, a bit of sweetcorn? And shredded sun dried tomatoes liven up a salad, as does crumbled feta, almond slivers, or those mini mozzarella pearls. Beansprouts give a lovely crunch, too.
I know you say you only like iceberg, but have you tried lambs lettuce and pea shoots from Tesco? Really scrummy! They also do a lovely aromatic mix with fresh herbs in it, which is great but not always available.

Morning all, it's a bright sunny day today and I'm feeling a lot better today. I'm going over to the Hobbycraft show at the NEC today with a good friend and DS is staying at home - knitting and sewing is not his thing!

Thanks @debrasue .
I like the sound of beanshoots. Can we have horsechestnuts? And chinese mushrooms?
Mind u it's starting to sound like a stir-fry. lol

Wow. Seven days is a long time, Kevin. Why do you want to start now, when you're still not recovered from your bug?
o_O

I'll be fine by tomorrow and it's Dr supervised and he thinks I'll be fine.

If I find it too challenging, I'll break it with something naughty:)

2/7/16 - Good Morning from a very breezy, sunny York. Hope everyone is well and enjoy the day. Late this morning posting, watched Film till 2am got to bed at 2.30am, turned off alarm clock and thought 'another 5 minutes' then I will get up. Went back to sleep and woke at 10.15am. Blood Sugar at 2am was 9.2 and today on rising 8.1 - so much happier they are slowly decreasing. Tomorrow will decide if I increase Insulin by another 2 units. :)

@KevinPotts keep me right. Do you use IF to correct naughty days and their delayed carb effect?
Liver detox?
