Good Morning

22/8/16 - Good Morning from a very rainy York, rained most of early morning. Hope everyone is feeling good and enjoy your day.:)
 
A belated Good Morning from a misty, warm C Scotland. Crossing the meadow in our local Country Park this morning we noticed that all the co!our has faded from the wildflowers and the grasses are withering. Some of the trees are dropping leaves too. Autumn comes early up here and the Winter is longer than in the south of UK so it's just as well that they are my favourite seasons. Have a good day everyone

Yes, the leaves are turning here now, too; there are sycamore spinners in the driveway and the rowan tree at the front of the house is loaded with berries.
I'm looking forward to autumn - misty mornings, trees gloriously ablaze with autumn colours, apples and pears, scarlet rosehips and a froth of Old Man's Beard in the hedgerows, crisp piles of leaves waiting to be shuffled through, Bonfire Night, toasting marshmallows with the grandchildren, shiny brown conkers, hopefully a nice, crisp frosty morning or two, and I don't even mind a foggy day now and again. Oh, yes................

Woke to a sore throat and dry cough. Gone now. Thank God.
Missing the old site layout. Sorry to moan but it's very very inconvenient. :(
 
Good morning from C. Scotland. It's persisting down here today, so there was rain as well as sweat crawling down our scalps at the end of our walk this morning. Looks set for the day but it's still very warm. Have a good day everyone, I hope that it's sunny where you are.
 
Morning all, we have some lovely sunshine here after yesterday's rain but it's forecast to be 28 degrees later! Yuk! I'm going into town with DS today so we're going in this morning before it gets too warm :)

I have a day at home planned today. Mum has gone to Blackpool for the day. She is booking our autumn break. Soooo excited to see her tomorrow for hotel half board booking details. :)
I hope I can get to november before I combust from kid mania. Ha ha

Yes, I agree with you about Eddie - he seems very tired and very down at present. I've PM'd him but he appears to want to keep a low public profile currently, so I guess all we can do is keep sending PMs to support him and show him we all care about him.
I hope you have a fab time when you and your mum go to Blackpool, Vicky - it's a place that I have never managed to get to yet, but it's on my bucket list!

Morning all, it's a bright sunny morning but thankfully not as warm as yesterday. I'm off for my appointment with my lovely nurse soon, might pick up a little treat for myself in Boots while I'm waiting for my prescription :)

'Morning, peeps!
It's bright and sunny again in the West Country today, although there's a little more cloud and a it's bit cooler this morning - thank goodness! Last night was very hot and uncomfortable and humidity was 96%. Yuck!
The senior Tiny Terrorist is here again today. She's very excited, because Granny has to go to the dentist. :) (It's only a scrape and polish, but Lexi can barely contain herself!)
I know that a lot of our friends on the forum are struggling with pain or depression right now, so I'm sending extra special big hugs to everyone. I hope you all have a lovely day.

Thanks Debra, his curtains are open now so that's a good sign :) If he doesn't pop over after lunch I'm going to be seeing him later, Wednesday is washing day. I've been doing his washing for him since he moved to his flat 8 years ago and Wednesday is the day I pick his washing up
 
Good morning all, it looks like a nice day in the SW Scotland, so after walking the dog you will find me on the water at Loch Ken at about 10.30.

White sky this morning. Yuck, I hate hot, white skies... It's obviously been raining in the night (I didn't hear anything because the fan by my bed sounds about the same as a 747 taking off!) but it doesn't seem to be any cooler this morning, just a whole lot more humid. :(
I'm working this afternoon, but my daughter and I are going out for breakfast this morning for a bit of girl bonding. Between her busy lifestyle and mine we never seem to get time to just chat nowadays, which is a shame because we really enjoy each other's company, so we're looking forward to it. We've just all booked a week at a beautiful villa near Marseille in September and I can't wait to go - I love France, especially Provence, and it will be very special to share it with the family. Je suis tres heureuse! :)
I hope everyone has a lovely day, especially the poorly peeps.
