I'm finding my stress has peaked hopefully. Til the next time. It's my biggest enemy.

Ps. I'm still embarrassed about my crutch/stick. Will that change?
Only need it once I get into momentum of walking, humf!

I remember feeling really self-conscious and embarrassed when I first started to use a stick. But then I realised that nobody else thought it was as big a deal as I did, and I thought: "Well, at least I'm walking" and gradually I got used to it. Nowadays I am very grateful to it because it gives me independence and freedom, and if I'm walking in a busy area people tend to be more cautious not to bump into me, which is a big plus!!
I'm glad you're feeling a little better today - we were worried about you!

Morning, peeps!
It's been chucking it down in the West Country this morning, and it's due to continue for most of the day, I think. I don't really mind that, as I have to work all day today and now that the rain has actually arrived my pain levels have dropped dramatically, thank goodness.
I hope the poorly peeps feel better soon, and that everyone has a good day.

Morning folks, and a big thank you for @13lizanne and @ickihun, you two are making me blush! It's going to be chucking it down all day here but I still have housework to do and shopping to get so I'd better get my backside in gear. @Liam1955 sending you the biggest hug of all, hope it gets better for you soon xx
 
@Diamum5972 - Thank You Barbara for that big Hug that will keep me warm and cosy :D. We had our coldest night last night of 7 degrees, (cold causes pain for me) I only had 4 hours sleep and woke at 5.30am with pain down the back of my neck and from shoulder to shoulder. I went to bed with 'things' on my mind, so Tension/Stress contributed to the pain no doubt. Enjoy your Shopping Trip and hope you get yourself a lovely treat. = Maybe some Wool and knit another fabulous creation? (which I have seen on Facebook) :) William x
 
Good Morning all...am off to swadlincoates today to race izzy see how she does...long way to drive but my hubby who does not drive by the way is looking forward to going grrrr
 
Good morning from Central Scotland. Another golden autumnal day. Cold during the night but beautiful, soft sunshine again this morning. Hopefully we'll have this weather for our holiday this week. We're off tomorrow, no internet and very patchy mobile reception- bliss! Hope everyone has a really good week.
 
Morning. My depressive mood seemed to have lifted. Thank god. It was horrible. :(
Off to my mum's house about 11am starting with a little walk. Then I'll be up and down her stairs all day with toddler as the other 3 adults believe he should have his mum everytime in toilet with him. He is trying to be encouraged to be more independent at nursery but my sister, her hubby and my mum set him back. It drives me mad! He uses his toilet at home independently but comes back set back. As you can tell I'm dreading the fact I will most likely have to say something. God help me, to keep my temper. Otherwise it just won't get over well.
I think I'll text all concerned so there's no misunderstandings! I will treat them like children since they are set on acting like them. My 9yr old is better equiped than these adults. I'm just losing my patients with them. My fault I guess because I haven't told them their actions are unacceptable! YET.
Wish me luck?

Good luck, Vicky - and bear in mind that he's YOUR son, not theirs, and you have the right to bring him up exactly as you choose to! You're training him to grow up and be independent, which is clearly a concept your mum and your sister are not familiar with!! ;)

We have a beautiful blue and gold autumn morning here in S Glos, too, and the forecast is for wall-to-wall sunshine all day. I finished all my proofreading last night, so I'm a happy bunny today and plan to make the most of this beautiful day.
