Yes. I keep getting re-occuring thrush and swelling. Had it since I was 6yr old. I'm wondering if painkillers are disguising a temperature and heavier chest pain. Anti-inflammatory too. Was on co-codamol on top of naproxen. Stopped naproxen only yesterday via gp to see if a side affect. (Breathing problem).
I should know eitherway how this is going to go. Any chest pains and I'll be calling ambulance again.
A scary time.

Morning Barbara and thank you still suffering this morning but got all my braces on today couldn't get appointment with docs today so will have to ring them later for a call back .
Last night was the worst pain I've had in a long while and spending over an hour on the floor waiting for paramedics felt like a lifetime .
Thanks to you all for your well wishes last night it was gratefully received and appreciated

Thanks Debs. But I'm afraid not much better after took braces off last night my legs had swelled like a couple of balloons the pain never goes away any more just bearable .
When I had my fall the pain was at a ten in my spine and left leg now after my fall it's been at a steady six that's with my pain killers but not long know to appointment for pain clinic .

Morning @debrasue - cannot stay in one position and get comfortable for too long. Pain is constant and niggling today. Still having problems with wee'ing, seeing GP later today about this. Wx:)

All the best for this afternoon William, hope that your usual GP can help with your problem and re-prescribe for the pain
 
Oh my goodness, @eldergarth and @Liam1955 - I really feel for you guys!
Constant, unrelieved pain is an awful thing to have to cope with on a daily basis; it has a such a bad effect on your mood, your motivation and your whole life, and it gets hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel.
I really hope your medical teams pull their fingers out and get some resolution on this for you both.
I've lit a candle for each of you this morning in my special golden bowl, along with some crystals and birch bark for healing, and Little Buddha and I are sending some healing thoughts and big hugs to you both.

Hoping increased pain relief does the job, til diagnosed properly.
I've read if its an autoimmune disease not many specialist can diagnose it. Maybe why all the confusion? It can take years for an autoimmune disease to be finally diagnosed.
 
Morning all and how are we today. Last night Ron decided he would try and have a shower as he'd not had one in a week due to pain. Well needless to say it turned into a right fiasco. Managed to get into the bath with the help of the bath board , but as soon as the water touched his back the pain was unbearable even though he'd already taken painkillers. Just when I didn't need it the pain in my back started acting up. So much so drying him became difficult . If the toilet raiser doesn't arrive for him today then I'm going out to buy one not waiting any longer.
 
Morning all, it will be bright and breezy again today. A and me are going into town today, I have to have my bloods taken for my HbA1c and A is determined to find some bargains in the Black Friday sales. Wish us luck :)

GOOD MORNING to everyone out there looking in here....cold today a little frost on the roof tops...heating si on and need to get dressed ..so warm in my dressing gown I could stay in it all day but that will not get the dogs walked :)
 
Morning folks, you'll be glad to know I didn't get squashed yesterday :) It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and darling offspring is in a very happy mood this morning. He got a new PlayStation game (luxury edition!) at a bargain price and loads of Disney DVDs as well. I'm waiting in for my new bookshelves to be delivered so we're both in a good mood :)
