Been to GP this morning for follow up appt to see how things have been. He is really pleased with the way I have been eating to bring my levels down. He has told me I dont need insulin 8) . He wants me to carry on with the food , trying different foods/combinations to see how I manage and will see me in 4 wks to see my results. As he said what might suit one person may not suit me which I have found out (thanks to this forum 8) ) Just want the muggy head and tiredness to go which hopefully will be soon.

The relief is unbelieveable, 2 weeks ago I was told I had to go into hospital ,which I refused and he allowed me the chance of monitoring at home and today my levels arnt perfect but much lower.
I have thanked him for giving me the chance to stay home. I honestly did not realise thou how ill I was. He told me that today and that also I have probably been getting ill over the past 5 years :***: which now I realise a lot of my tiredness wasnt just down to the 'poop' that was going on in our life but my body dealing with this as well.

Thank you all x
