Think I'm in control of it now 13 months post diagnosis. Don't feel as pleased as I should - not sure why really but I'm doing ok.

Absolutely brilliant!!!
Keep on doing what you're doing there.

edit -- and *** - feel pleased!

Lol I know! I should especially when I see others struggling - makes me feel guilty!

I had predicted my result to be 35 so maybe it was just the surgery rubber stamping what I already knew through self testing....

That is close to inspirational :)

Congrats very well done. I had the same feeling no happiness or excitement was just confused whether i should be happy or sad coz although its under control its progressive but anyways hard work has paid off.

I don't feel guilty.
Neither should you.
what we prove, well I can talk for me, I wouldn't presume to speak for you.
I was severely overweight, and I'll put my hand up to it,
I turned it round, and so can others.

I was inspired by posts like yours, so you keep it going, and fair play to you, keep it up.

I'm hoping to use my personal experience to try and help others reverse their own diabetes - that would be amazing if I could achieve that. That's my goal.

Brilliant, well done :)

Hi VinnyJames,

Those are amazing results... you should be celebrating your achievement... not only because of how well you have done but because you are a marvelous inspiration to people like me... who thought that it was impossible to get results like this.

So thank you, for giving me yet another boost to continue on the the path to controlling my diabetes.

My scores (in my signature) are in a similar range to yours, and I always just fee; relieved I haven't had a bolt out of the blue result. Even the first after diagnosis was just such a relief that I had some payback for all the hard work both myself and my OH had done in the foregoing months.

It's odd, I know Vinny, but I do understand what you're saying.

(Not that I'm a perfectionist or anything.......)
