Hi

I like greek yogurt, and see that many peeps on here use it, I have a question as regards the carbs etc.

Tesco Light Greek Style Yogurt Carbs 8.2g per 100g

Sainsbury low fat natural yogurt Carbs 7.1g per 100g

From the above figures I would of been steered to the natural yogurt, are there any other benefits to the greek yogurt.

Thanks

Mark

That's a co-incidence as I was about to post about Lidl's greek style yougurt. Big pots for £1.58 and only 3.2g carbs per 100g. It's absolutely lovely. I eat a lot of natural/greek yogurt as it seems to help me with my stomach issues and IBS.

Cheers Riri, will be calling into Lidl tomoz, sounds just the job, thanks Mark

Yeo Valley natural yogurt is good at only 6.5g per 100g

Diagnosed type II 1998 2 x 80 mg Gliclazide, 4 x 500mg Metformin and 1 x 100mg Sitagliptin - HbA1c - 48 mmol/mol

A word of caution...

'light' and 'low-fat' yoghurts have loads more carbs (sugar) than the full fat versions - not good!

I have greek full fat yoghurt which is 5% carbs. :D
