So, yesterday I was really tired after only having about 3 hours sleep the night before. Was having a really stressful day at work and the carbs have crawled back in! I had a roll and sausage for breakfast, then macaroni cheese & chips from the work canteen (excuse being that I was too tired to prepare my breakfast or salad, etc in the morning). Then in the afternoon one of my kind workmates brought me a cupcake (to be fair though she doesn't know about my diabetes or my recent banishment of carbs!). Then when I got home, my hubby-to-be ordered Indian takeaway so I munched my way through as much curry, rice, popadoms and naan bread as I could manage! Tested my blood sugars last night and they were 11.5 - not impressed.
Today I feel ill but determined to get back on track. Although I am seriously craving a bacon sandwich and a big bad chocolate bar! Could also go a McDonalds! Help!!!!
