Had my say in the parliamentary committee

Thanks soundgen.... Lovely to know wht you think of members of my family.

A lot of GP's are there because they like their job.
I really feel sorry for you having such a dim view of people.... I really do.

It's called Experience and they have less and less incentive to help you despite being on a £135K gravy train they can get more ! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1078796/How-sick-GPs-paid-bonus-NOT-send-hospital.html

at least if they are diabetic r=they could aford their strips !

I suppose it's a bit like when I joined the Police, I never wanted to be a Chief Constable etc, I wanted to do a job I liked. There is more to life than just money.

So as far as I am concerned there are many people out there who don't have money in their sights when considering what job they wanted to do. Some people are just dedicated to their work....hard to believe I know.

That link applies to American services, which are funded in a completely different way to the UK.
GP's are human. Some bad, some good, like everwhere else.
But saying they ALL are simply money grabbing is such a ridiculous over-generalisation.

You've already decided what you think of GP's.
If i say yes, they'll be lying, if i say no, point proven.

I honestly do feel sorry for people that cannot beleive that other people want to help, I really think that for some people, there are things more important than money.
Try it some time. Being nice, helping others, it's a good thing to do.
