That high in itself can make you feel like that, on top of tiredness itself....

Would be good to see what the BG are doing from 3 am on wards..

So hard to test at those hours though when working 50 plus hours a week.

But will do some too see.
I find ( as a wine drinker) that if I’m having two drinks with dinner I’m perfect.
An of course not advocating this but just my experience

Yeah, alcohol will do that and it kind of confirms it is the liver and therefore dawn phenomenon that is likely responsible...

the bare minimum you could do to confirm it is to do a 3 am test......so just one test, set an alarm and do the test with one eye open...ha ha....shouldn't hopefully deprive you of sleep too much.....

the 3 am time is normally not long before the liver dump begins.....so if its close to your pre bed test then you can be sure your basal is right...

Hi @nessa1970 If you're waking up feeling like this then it's possible you went low during the night, you need to set the alarm for the 3am test as mentioned by @novorapidboi26 it's the lowest point for your bg levels during the night and will determine for sure if this is the reason, otherwise look at doing some basal testing to check your background dose is doing it's job.
