I’ve done it with pasta which I’ve rinsed under cold water fo4 about 5 minutes and then reheated in the sauce with not too much effect.Has anyone tested their blood glucose before and after eating freshly cooked rice vs rice cooked the day before?
Does anyone know if there are studies on this that look at insulin as well as blood glucose?

I've never encountered this discussion but I have been puzzled by my (almost non-existant) reaction to a generous portion of cashews! There's an old discussion regarding cashews which naturally contain resistant starch and I can eat them in fairly small quantities with no problem.
Wow, and here I thought I was just weird eating cashews without dosing for them! Turns out most people who replied found the same thing@Antje77 here's that cashews & resistant starch thread:

Thank you for posting the link. I haven't eaten cashews for 4 years because of the carbs. Am definitely buying a packet today. They will be a lovely addition to my diet and hopefully no BS spikes.@Antje77 here's that cashews & resistant starch thread:

This is similar to the saying "one's to many, the carton is not enough" with beer.I found over time I was eating more. -first one square then two etc. It's easier for me to have none- sad but true for me. I've bought a limited amount for Easter and then won't buy more for a while.
