Hi i have just got back my blood results back from my diabetic blood test Normally my HbA1c is around 52 been that for the last year But the results today are 35.0 and i have an appointment to see my DN. I had a feeling as i have been getting tingling in my fingers but not all the time I can tell when my BS are low as my fingers tingle and when i test it is about 3.2 or around there I am on metformin (for 14 yrs) at 2000 mg a day I do do LCHF but for only about 5 days now and then Has anyone had this happen to them I do feel OK even at 3.2 BS Thanks

Maybe you no longer need the metformin ?

I'm getting tinglings in hands, arms and feet cramps which I'm putting down to starting a statin. I'll have to wait til august for blood test to see if I'm right. I think my cholesterol may occasionally get too low?

Hi just had a phone call from my DN she has reduced my Metformin from 2 morning and 2 at night 2000 mg to only 1 morning and 1 at night And to have another blood test in 2 mths to see how it is then also see about the tingling in my fingers
