Can a hbo1c be the problem. ...? Ive been trying for 7 years and my doctor just says because your hbo1c has been 10 for 12yrs ( by the way i have no damage and only hypo at 3.0 ) is the reason ??? Anyone help as ive been told by others thay are just fobbing you off as it dont stop you getting pregnant in the first place ....
Thats what the doctor's have said, the thing is ive had a scan as i had large ovarian cysts when i was 10 ( the stress from the op is why im diabetic ) but everything looks ok apart from my one overie dose not work the other one is small but apparently is fine. Thay just dont want to help me. Im getting so fed up with it all. XIs that your GP saying that or your diabetes specialist? Have you seen a gynaecologist to check that everything's ok?
There is brief info here:
http://www.diabetes.co.uk/pregnancy-complications/infertility-in-women.html
For any woman - diabetic or not - being in good general health is beneficial eg healthy weight, nutritious diet, etc.
If you haven't had any infertility investigations, I'd push for those. In the meantime, ask your DSN for advice about getting your HbA1C down. It can only help - now and in any future pregnancy![]()
