Thank youWell done on the reduction in your numbers, keep it up.
Well done on your numbers too! I'm on lantus 20 units for the day and novorapid 4 units breakfast 6 units lunch and 8 units dinner. I'm not really carb counting at the moment but am trying to just stick to eating home food rather than take always and have cut out all fizzy drinks.Well done on your achievement! I've just had my first review since diagnosis. My HbA1c nine weeks ago was 70 (8.6%), now it is 45 (6.2%). I'm on Metformin, I self monitor and I eat low carbs. I started on less than 100g carbs/day, but in the last couple of weeks I've reduced it to 50 - 70g carbs/day. What are you doing @Wayne18000 ?
Well done to you tooHi @wayne 18000 ..
Well done and many congrats on a great result in such a short time. For info, I have had a similar pattern of numbers to you and @Resurgam .. HbA1c 98 at diagnosis on Feb 7th down to 40 at first review on 25th May. That's three of us "doing it" .. but now we just need to keep it going
I was diagnosed as type 2 insulin dependent on the 3rd of may, was originally thought to be type 1. My Hba1c at the time was 12.7. Just spoke to the diabetic nurse on the phone after seeing her Tuesday and she informed me that my Hba1c is now 8.2. What was your Hba1c on diagnosis and what was your 2nd reading after 3 months?
