Hba1c reading 39mmol

I'm on 2000mg Metformin daily and 10mg dapagliflozin daily, just had my first annual diabetes check up yesterday my blood sugar reading came back as 39mmol while on the mentioned diabetic medications , unsure what next see diabetic nurse Christmas eve

Forgot to mention I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes beginning of year hence Metformin and dapagliflozin

Well, that's a pretty normal BG reading. Obviously the meds have something to do with it. Are you doing anything in relation to what you're eating? You might expect that the DN could suggest reducing some of your meds to see what happens. If nothing else has changed, that could be an issue.

Excellent. You might find that the change in eating may have had more impact on your BG reduction than the meds.
