Hba1c result..... wahoo!

Just rang drs for my hba1c result from last week. Nice message from the diabetic nurse who is again impressed by the result!!

101 at diagnosis
46 after 3 months
39 after 7 months

All down to low carb with a little help from metformin. Going to stick with the metformin for now but I'm going to email drs about decreasing dose.

Thanks to this forum and it's amazing members, I've turned things around.
I'm still diabetic, but I'm managing it.

I can't shout loud enough about LC!!
 
Congratulations and well done! Yaaay!

I’ve got my second HbA1c test tomorrow and have been doing low carb, a bit of fasting and more exercise, so I’m hoping, fingers crossed, that I’ll be below my first/diagnosis test result of 50.
 
And.... just had a phone call from the nurse to congratulate me in person as she didn't want to just file the result without talking to me!

Congrats @mouseee - hoping I can follow in your footsteps and get my 6 month after diagnosis test into the 30s. You must be thrilled. The diet definitely works!! Kudos to you for staying in track so well!
