Ok, just phoned up for my latest HBA1C result from the doctors and was told 'No Action'
I hope I didn't sound too shirty when I asked for the actual numbers..
My HBA1C is now 46 or 6.4% - that's down from 7.2% in March and 10% in January. I'd have liked to break the 6% barrier, but I'm being stricter with myself now so hopefully that number will fall further. It also means that my A1CNow meter is reading about 0.3% low.
So thanks to everyone who's helped me get this far. Being able to tell people how I'm getting on is a strong incentive for working on my numbers. I also have a stronger result to take to my hospital referral in July.
So onwards and downwards.. home soon for a Gin & Tonic and Falafel to celebrate
