i don't understand this... so if my ALT is down that must mean my liver is getting better? my HBA1C is up to 99..
i am having a hard time trying to stay positive.. i take my medicine and i check regularly and i can say that i don't believe the medicine is helping anymore... i take the maximum dose of metformin and i take 120mg of gliclizide and i still stay high throughout the day.. i do go to the gym and do lots of walking.. which is suppose to help lower my blood sugar.. i drink 2 liters of water a day also.. i don't know anymore... I am very tired and my legs are burning up all the time aswell but i still go to work and do whatever i can do. yet i am not able to bring down my levels and maintain the control with my current medicine and exercise routine.. i don't know what to say to my endo when i see him apart from i am taking my medicine and doing everything else that is suppose to help me lower my blood glucose. I am waking up 15mmol and going to 20mmol after breakfast and then before my next meal i am around 18mmol and then after that i am 14mmol and then before bed i am around 19mmol.. i don't understand that is just a example of what my levels look like... i may invest in CGM to see if i am going down but i doubt it will help also my OT has been cut for a while so not able to get in the extra £££ at work. - i am not sure what to expect.. i just remember that gliclizide used to bring me down so quick in the past and now it isn't even bringing me down at all. even @ the dose i am on which is 120g in the morning and 80g in the evening. i don't think i will go back on insulin again didn't help me at all. was taking 100 units twice a day on novorapid. will see what the endo says in a months time.. sorry for rambling.. urghh!
