Yes, I know, yet another Hba1c thread, but it didn't seem right to hijack someone else's.

I read this site a lot, rarely log in and even more rarely post. I'm an inconsistent low carber, but fairly good at skipping meals.

Yesterday I got my latest Hba1c. I was diagnosed T2 in March 17 with a 96, in April 18 I was 46 and on metformin, in September 18 I took myself off metformin, yesterday I was told my May 19 number was 41 - not diabetic.

Of course, I'm still diabetic, I spike high and too long when I eat bread which I do frequently. But if I eat low carb in the evenings my FBS the next morning is in the 5s, and now I've got a 41 for Hba1c.

Just thought I would share.

Keep up the good work guys, and thank you.

Great job, there. Keep it up.

Well done on your HbA1c. Just to keep you company, mine was 48 today. 6.5%. An average of 7.8 mmol/l. I knew it was going to be worse than last time. I promised to go onto insulin if it was above 6.5% to save my few remaining islet cells. I have a reprieve. I'm about to through the kitchen sink at it. Here's to the next 3 months of meal skipping and IF and exercise.

@ert I know nothing about managing T1. But your numbers are impressive. And as I am only considering starting C25K in an ongoing fortnight from now I am especially jealous of your exercise numbers. In my own defence I do do calisthenics occasionally.
You sound like you are doing brilliantly.
