Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had advice. I wanted to lower my Hba1c its 7% at the moment highest its ever been and its really getting me down as I dont feel myself anymore. Any advice please. Ive always had a good reading but had my 2nd child a year ago and its just gone up as lost control.

It's harder to keep on top of diabetes when you have children, I think.

Is there any particular time of day you're getting highs?

My only tips are to test lots and correct if you need to for random highs. Are you on MDI or a pump?

Yep I'd agree with this, just ghetto one little one here (2 year old) but my control has been much more difficult since he came along.

I think it's a combination of disrupted nights, more stress and just more to worry about in general. All of which has an effect on your diabetes... Oh and you're ill all of the time too!

Only advice I can give is as above, keep checking and correcting.

I'm just hoping that once these back molars finally sprout we'll be able to get some sleep and things might settle down!
