Hi All.
I was diagnosed with T2 at end of September this year and started the lchf lifestyle. Gp put me on metformin 500mg twice daily as my Hb1ac was 99.
He asked me to go back for bloods after a month and I've just had the results. Hb1ac has come down from 99 to 66.
I know that the true values of how well I'm doing will be after 12 weeks but at least the figures are going in the right direction.
I was thinking of continuing with the metformin until I've had my 3 month bloods done and if the results are what I'm hoping they will be, stopping the meds and then trying with diet alone for another 3 months before getting bloods done again. Any thoughts?
