Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Andrew and I'm a 27 yr old from South Wales. I'm trying desperately to come to terms with 10 years of being pretty **** as a diabetic, and I've just started a blog on the matter (to help me try and vent some things - a kind of therapy :oops: ) but anyway, i wanted to use this site as a reference point for learning more on my journey and hope that some of you may like to read...

Good blog, btw, very touching and honest. With help from the good folks here you will achieve your commandments - six pack aside maybe, though who knows! :)
Was interested in your commment re honeymoon period. 18 months is a long honeymoon. I wait with bated breath for my pancreas to go **** up!

We all know how **** it is being diabetic but this forum is great for info, support, ideas, fun and even a good verbal rant and scrap now again! We're all at different stages in it -some veterans, some newbies (am I still a newbie at 5 months?) type 1, type 2, type 1.5 - the list goes on

So hello, and dont worry we'll have you sorted in no time!

Hi Andrew,

Liked your blog a lot and some of it was very enlightening! I'm 32 and definitely suffering from male pattern baldness so it would be interesting to see if this is more under control now my blood sugars are!

Good luck with the six pack I know I've got one somewhere if only I could shift another stone or two!
 
Hello How are things just read your blog made intresting reading .... Hope all is going well what part of S Wales are you I am Bridgend do you find the (Name of Hospital removed) Hospital helpful the Diabetic unit? I am due back on the 13 Jan dreading it as I have been very naughty over Christmas eating a few treats :D
