Hi All,
I am T1 and have been for 13 years now. I started on fixed injections then moved onto a pump which I am still on currently. My control started off great but in recent years it has really slipped and I have not got it back under control. At my last check up I had an Hb1C of 11 and was read the riot act by my dr. So I have decided things need to change. I have now upped my BS tests to minimum of 4 a day (aiming for 8) and have a beter understanding of where I stand with my diabetes now.
THis seems like a great forum with a wealth of information and I will be very happy to pass on all the information I have to people (mainly of what not to do!).
Aside from that a bit more about myself: I have 2 dogs (6 months and 2.5yr) and recently got married. I am a avid homebrewer and enjoy playing on my xbox.
