Hello UK! Newcastle Diet from Texas progress thread.

    Your bgs go higher if protein/muscle dumping(glucose) needs converting by insulin too. Rather than fat. Energy from fat reserves in any starvation diet but energy from digested fat if no starvation diet (diet with all 3 components not only 2).

    Insulin which is of poor quality or not available enough to cope with insulin resistance doesn't help.
