Hi there, I'm Cathy. I have type 2 diabetes and was diagnosed as insulin dependent in 2021 after years on Metformin. Sadly, my rising levels slipped through the net during the pandemic and it was only discovered by accident that things had got much worse. I now inject with a Lantus pen device once a day in the morning and check my blood before meals. Happy to say that things are very well controlled now. I look forward to getting to know others in the forum and take away some recipe ideas and life hacks!
