Good morning everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself, I am Alex, a middle aged British born expat fart living in Normandy, France. I was diagnosed about a year ago or so with type 2 diabetes and I am still a newbe to gthe condition. I am lucky enough to have expat friends of mine living locally who are long time diabetics and so I have been able to get some knowledge from them but I look forward to getting advice from you guys out there. Trying to get my head around this condition is not as easy as it seems.

Hi Alex, and welcome,

So many diabetics, so many ways of tackling it. I certainly don't do the same thing my family members do. So with everyone being different, needs being different, lives being different... Though I don't envy you being in the land of excellent pains, and being diabetic. Yikes, what a rough deal. ;)
