Hello. I'm new to the forum but an old hand at being T2 diabetic. I've been feeling a little isolated with it lately, so decided to join here to chat with people who understand the condition.

Hi, I'm looking to chat to people who understand what it's like having the condition to be honest. I don't feel listened to or supported so I thought chatting to people here would help with some peer support.

Hi @Blue1973 and welcome to the forum, I’m type 2, I’ve been taking GLP 1 meds for the last three years, initially I was taking Victoza, but had to stop due to shortages caused by the skinny jab furore, I then changed to Rybelsus tablets, but have had to change back to an injectable, Tirzepatide, what do you take?

Hello! Thank you for replying. I'm currently taking Mounjaro. I've tried Metformin but found I really do not tolerate it, even the slow release form.

Hello and welcome. It can be a lonely condition, but you are among friends here. Ask whatever you want - no question too trivial.

I used to take Metformin several years ago, but developed an intolerance. Now on Tirzepatide which is the generic name for Mounjaro, just on the loading dose at the moment and no side effects, how do you find it?
