Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed type 2 about 2 years ago, I have been following the discussions for about 6 months and thought I would finally pluck up the courage to start talking to you all instead of just following!

Just wonderd if anyone can tel me about taking my SR Metformin I was originally told to take 1 tablet three times a day with meals but then Doctor said as they are slow release to take three at my main meal time which I have been doing for the past year just wondered if I had been given the correct info, I would appreciate your help.
 
Hello, nice yo meet you, I take 3 500mg one with breakfast and two with my main meal in the evening, I used to take 3 times a day now twice a day. The are not the sr version......though....hope this helps a bit...

Someone else will know more....

It took me awhile to join, I used to just watch for a few month....now I ask questions ...I was put Off a bit at first but then felt more confidence and have met some really nice people.....
 
Hi Kat100, thanks for replying yeah this is all abit scary and new too me but after just watching for so long I finally plucked up the courage (after a few wines) to type a post. I have been low carbing for a few weeks but had a relapse this week but after my wine tonight I plan to go back on course tomorrow.
