I was diagnosed in 1999, fist as type 2 then later type 1. I was about 31 when I got the news. I have run the gam met of treatments from diet to Glucophage to Insulin shots and in 2007 I was put on a pump. Recently my feet have started to hurt. So I bought some vitamin b 12 , 500 mg to start, and a cream for diabetic pain and it seems to be helping so far. I have a A1c test on Tuesday to see what is up. Or down.
