Hi everyone, I am a type 2. I was dignosed last Sept with a reading of 27.8, I know this was high ! and the practice nurse told me that she was in 2 minds as to if i was type 1.I was prescribed Metformin 500. My later checks were improved, the next one was 15.4 although this was a fasting check, my next check was 28.9! I was then prescribed gliclazide and my Metformin was increased to 850 and added a blood pressure tablet. I have attended a desmond course and am trying to exercise more. Lately I have been getting tingly feet not cold. Just tingly like when doing a long walk, snd they ache afterwards, but during or just after moderate excercise eg cycling for 1/2 hour. My latest Blood results Hb1ac were 5.9 so I must be doing something right.
Thanks, Andy

Hi CrazyAndy,

The blood glucose levels that you refer to are certainly very high. However, as you say yourself, you must be doing something right if you now have an HbA1c of 5.9%. How, have you achieved such a massive improvement?

Keep up the good work! It is important!

Best Wishes - John
