help me where to inject

I was told to avoid the area within a two inch radius of the navel, so that might be what you're doing wrong!

If burning when going in or you feel it then chances ate it won't be absorbed properly.

May also depend on your sixe and qty of fat or muscle to find your best place for injections.

I've done mine in my bum for majority of 30+ years.

I use my tummy a few inches away from belly button for long acting and legs for fast acting,if its cold it tends to sting too

I was told to use lower abdomen for fast acting and legs/bum for long acting. Try changing sites and see if things improve

Thats unusual. Normally the suggestion is to fast act in your belly...

Insulin is absorbed fastest in the stomach, arms, legs and lastly the bum, your bolus doses are best injected in the stomach and arms and basal doses in the legs and buttocks.

As usual great advice from Noblehead. Just make sure not to use the same area all the time to inject. Over time you will get what's known as lipo dystrophy. This is not nearly as scary as it sounds! It basically means the place where you usually inject won't absorb the insulin properly any more, so your blood sugars become unpredictable. I tend to 'rotate' my injection sites to avoid this. I go left leg, right leg, left part of stomach, right part of stomach. Also injecting in different parts of the leg/stomach/arm/bum helps. In my stomach I go all the way round to the side of me. So long as there's a soft patch to inject into, I find it's all good :). I should add this is my own personal way of doing things, rather than an officially recommended way.
