I stupidly walked into town and got 2 Hugh blisters on my feet. The shoes fitted but then I lost weight.....
Anyway, my feet are swollen and there is an inch wide band starting at where the blister is (scab bed over) the area around the blister and part of the band is red and itchy. This is the case for both feet. Do I need to see the doc? Opinions please?

Hi, Walking into town isnt stupid its great exercise, unluckily re the blisters, the default response as always is get them checked, elevate them until you get appt, as much as you are able, im sure there fine but best to check in my opinion

Maybe just to be on the safe side, our feet are important....need looking after....
Are you bathing them and putting anything on your feet to help .....x

No just keeping anything from touching them and letting the fresh air get to them.

Andy is right you should think about putting your feet up, also maybe a bowl of warm water for a bit of a pampering soak ...:) ( for you feet ) !
Sounds like they might turn out to be a bit painful for a while :/

Whether you see the doc or not depends why you got the blister. If yu got the blister because of a strap rubbing or the shoe rubbing, you will probably respond better to some pampering - washing in warm soapy water, drying with a padding action and adding talv to get it thoroughly dry. Maybe some moisturiser , something like Zero Base, which doesn't have steroids or perfumes or anything.

If you just got blisters without any obvious cause, yes, see the doc.

Were you wearing socks? I wear them all the time now though I didn't used to. It makes a difference. New socks every day and ones which are not too tight either. Have a look at http://www.cosyfeet.com

There's a lot of washing of each others feet in the bible. Keep 'em clean and dry.

Some low carb socks here :)
