Hi everyone,
I hope that someone might be able to help me please?
I take 1 dapagliflozin in the morning and 4 metformin in the evening. I have terrible wind at the moment and wondered if I could take Rennie to help ease it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You.

For a start it would probably be better to take 2 Metformin in the morning and 2 in the evening.
All 4 at once is seriously hard core!:wideyed:

@LittleGreyCat makes an excellent point; that's a lot of Met in one go, and I sincerely hope you take it with food... Splitting the dosage over morning and evening would increase the odds of tolerating it better.

Thank you both for your replies. I already take 1 x dapagliflozin in the morning as well as the 4 metformin in the evening, so wondering if I can take morning tab and 2 metformin in morning and other 2 in evening would be ok?
Thank you

I buy Sugar Free Rennies in a large branch of Boots. The sweetening ingredients are replaced by sorbitol, but as this has a laxative effect they should be taken with caution. I have only ever taken one or less than one at a time

Sounds reasonable.
If in doubt, check with your health care team.
Is there any reason why you chose to take 4 at one go?
Did anyone suggest this?

I take 4 metformin in the evening after food. This is because I have the slow release metformin. Metformin has never given me any problems.

I was on 1 glitzide in the morning and 2 in the evening. I then was told to up the metformin in evening so was doing that. I was having problems with the glitzide so my health care team told me to try the one I’m on now, I’ve only been on it bout 3 months. (
Unfortunately my hat is not very informative).
