if you want to measure using the meter.
Test just before eating
Then test after 2 hours.
The rise you would be looking for would be 2 mmol or under.
As an example, many of mine start at 5.5 mmol before meal.
Most end up at 7.5 mmol at the 2 hour mark
If it's above that, I would have a 2nd look at the meal.
Perhaps it was too much food.
Maybe I am more sensitive to some of the ingredients.
That is the detective work we all must do individually.
Some foods others eat without issue, can bother me...and of course vice versa.
If you need some help finding better choices for the food you currently eat, I'd say diet doctor visuals would be a great place to start.
Lower numbers preferable.
