Anything to do with wings! Nanny state, people who won't say no, people who won't say yes and anything to do with the labour party
I am not sure if I am correct or not, but do diabetics suffer from pains in their legs and/or feet, or even occasional numbness in toes. Does it go away? Is it serious?

Since becoming diabetic I have noticed I can get an acute pain in my big toe, by the nail on the top. There is no reason for this - good feet, heal well and without suffering from cold feet etc, which has got my mind trying to recollect whether the above question is relevant to diabetics or not.

As an aside - is it protocol not to mention ones first name in posts?

See your GP, foot pain can be diabetes related, but it doesn't have to
As for for first names, some do mention them, some don't and some do sometimes. It's just as you wish

Thank you for the replies, the web link was very helpful

I often give workshops to diabetes support groups on this subject. One specific piece of advice that I can offer is to try a product called OmegaForce which has been formulated to benefit the major areas of issue with diabetics (these being increased risk of cardiovascular problems and nerve damage).
Fatty acid supplements can reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels, both of which are often elevated in diabetes. But with reference to your query, there is increasing evidence that taking EPA, the fatty acid found in fish oils has specific benefits for those who suffer from neuropathy, by helping to repair and stabilise the fatty sheath that covers and insulates the nerve.
