Help with results please!!

I've just had my results today, fasting 7.1 and after glucose 12.3.
The doctor wants me to go back for a fasting test on Thursday.
2 weeks ago fasting was 7.4.
I haven't been told if I am diabetic yet, hoping to find out more from the nurse on Thursday.
What do you guys think?
 
What led you to have the tests in the first place?

I was tested 2 years ago and it was all ok. I went for a cardio clinic at the doctors and this was picked up on a blood test.
 
It explains why I've been very tired! Also feel light headed at times.
 
As I said on your other thread, those results are indicative of diabetes. Fasting should be under 6, but fasting tests can be unreliable. The glucose test should be under 11 I believe. You need to have an HbA1c as this is the test normally used for diagnosis.

Those results are quite clear. If your doctor is competent you are about to be told you have diabetes, most likely type 2 diabetes. While you wait for that advice please read this: Getting Started
