Do you plan your meals?I'm type2 diabetic. I'm on 4 metformin a day and 3mg trulicity once a week. When I do glucose readings always below 8. But I've lost the plot lately eating what I want and telling myself the meds are doing the work. I need to go back to basics but just don't know we're to start and what not to be eating. I'm feeling so annoyed with myself and would really appreciate advice

No I don't plan my meals and don't understand what makes a good meal. Now I know I sound stupidDo you plan your meals?
Are there times when you tend to eat the wrong thing? Do you have things in the fridge ready to eat?
Do you have a shopping list or two (I had three different ones at one time) so you have variety of ingredients?
Are there some foods you should never buy? (Because you just eat them even when you shouldn't)
Getting into a routine helped me, as does breaking a habit firmly when I see it is causing me to stray.
Failing to plan is the same as planning to fail.

Thank youYou're not a failure. Far from it, you see there's a problem and you want to fix it. That's a good place to start.
I'm honestly not trying at minute I seem to have hit self destruct.. thank you I've heard of those defrost thingsI know this might sound silly.... if I haven't planned a meal I just get a steak out. I have a special defrost gadget. Defrost in a few hours. Just cook it, and if you don't fancy anything with it. The steak will fill you up and Blood sugars will like it.....
Try and not worry too much I am sure you are trying your very best.
