hey guys, is it okay if I say to those that are uneducated?

No offence I mean... I just missed 2 days of French class just because I had to do MRI (brain scan) & believe it or not, I've had some side effects from it days later, because it effected the ears and I had to deal with vertigo till I'm under prescribed drugs and gladly, its gone then I can get back to class this Wednesday and as many of you that have read my post, how do I explain to people about my condition when it's rare but its diabetes related? I have couple other autoimmune diseases before diabetes that could lead to diabetes as my last alignment but the doc say that "its a slow process, I have to hold my breath."

Can I say "I'm prediabetic?" I can have low sugar back again any time though, after many checks. Thats why I did MRI, I'm low with a lot of things antioxidants/sometimes sugar, checking for diabetes over & over or cancer, etc... Wow, I've been low for 2 years actually! wow! has it been 2 years?? xD since 2015..

My result wont be out till Jan 26. What do I say, I don't want to explain myself if I'm questioned about my absence. If I say pre-diabetic they'd be like "ooooo" then I wont have to explain, you know what I mean. I don't want follow up questions. I'm not that drama type. What do I say to my teachers?

cause its French class... they'd usually, normally want me to introduce myself, give better explanation, you know what I mean? especially in language school... how do I explain my absence or even introduce myself. T_T

i've thought of that but that wud make them question more. hahaha. i just want something short, like one word because I spend a lot of time at the diabetes centre in my hospital to, im so certified to be it but the sugar levels arent high lol.

i am like this (see all is one word) :

relationship - single
passion - the arts
dream - tennis player
career - film producer
jobs - graphic designer
health - ** how do i explain**

(career and jobs are diff btw)

so if the teacher ask "what was wrong?" i would say at first, "pre diabetic or diabetes related?" then if they are shocked and asked more so I say "psychotic episodes of that (which is which?)"

Tbh, some people just can't accept that I have health issues cause I've always been the happy and most active one amongst group. I never liked self-pity. I'm the one that always solve friends/family problems. So everyone is shocked about me, they'd be like, "but you took care of a stroke patient, a grandpa, grandparents and yourself? yourself?? you worked hard to earn your own money for college apartments and your own health. sure, your parents helped you pay but most of the time you did. i doubt you're ill." then here comes more question.

I can't see that a one-word answer to their questioning why you were away, or telling them about yourself/health, is going to be enough. I would have thought, seeing as it is a language class, you are going to be expected to elaborate. So, why not tell them you have diabetes Type 1 (I assume) and, from time to time, you require to attend hospital appointments for checks and/or investigations. Then go on to talk about something else about yourself so maybe they won't question you about your health.

YAY THANKS! its either one or 2 words , nothing more than 2 cause as you can see, im not the type of girl that likes to explain. thanks! yeah, thanks for understanding that. yes, we need to elaborate a lot in language school. i mean seriously hahah

so here's my findings abt diabetes related so far and I'll let you judge. i process it slow maybe. is either type 1/prediabetes/lada you pick

- low magnesium
- heart problem
- eye disorders
- weight lost
- fatigue
- increase thirst
- frequent urination
- unpredictable episode of low blood sugar cause it can happen
- my grandpa has type 2.

i would love to say im healthy, but im on regular check ups that somedays doctors would get me grounded. so explaining things to non medical people is hard :/
