Hi all

Hi @adam50, many of the diabetic controls such as diet, exercise and quality sleep should help your well being, welcome.

Hi and Welcome to the forum.
It dosn't matter if you've been diagnosed 1 day or 10 years your always welcome here. it's always good to have a new member. I've only been diagnosed since October officially but was pre diabetic before that.
I know exactly how you feel about not being able to get up in the morning I frequently have days like that, in fact I can sleep all day and all night easily as I'm a depressive, their what I call my bad days.
Sorry to hear you have anxiety as well as diabetes to deal with. It's not easy is it?
But you need to start each day by setting yourself a time to get up by and trying to stick to it. I know its harder than it sounds and I can't talk really as I don't always manage it either.
Maybe try and make yourself a new years resolution? Mine are to take back control of my eating, continue low carb diet, loose weight, not to binge and to save enough money so I can take christmas 2017 to my daughter no matter where she is in the world (currently its New Zealand). I'm not expecting to succeed at all of it in fact I will probably fail at most but if I achieve one then it will be a miracle and something I've not achieved before. Which will be massive for me. Maybe have a think about what you would like to achieve in 2017? No matter how small.
Maggie
