Hi, been away

Just wanted to jump in and say hi. I've been away from here around a year. Serious spikes yesterday scared the life out of me and I realised I didn't have anyone to ask for help :( Hope you are all good.

Hi. Welcome back. It has been a while. I hope you are doing well and that the spikes yesterday are easily explained.

Hi @P1ckle We are still here. Ha ha. ;)

Are you worrying about things other than some spikes or ailing for a virus attack?
Hubby and kids are all sneezing and sniffing due to change to colder air. So far I've been ok but I normally get it last.

How are you and was your spike a one off?

Spike was all day yesterday. Don't know if it's a one off as I haven't been checking :( but felt really rough

Really not confident with forums and am probably going to put something in the wrong place :/

Hi @P1ckle ,

Welcome back..
Hey, we all need a "refresher". Just ask away! Great to see you back.

Are you fed up with checking or just fed up in general?

Idk. Been in hospital at Easter, big asthma attack. Can't complain so many worse off but just losing sight of what to do I guess. Didn't think I was doing badly but yesterday scared me :(

Hi @P1ckle
Good to see you back but sorry to hear you're having problems. Have they sorted our the asthma?

Good to see you back @P1ckle :).
Are you taking your Asthma medication regular? (I also have Asthma).

Was sent out of hosp with 2 inhalers and tablets. Have resp assessment on the 10th so guess will know more then. Consultant said something about 1 inhaler messing with bg but didn't say anything else.

Hi @P1ckle - I have 2 Inhalers, 1 is Brown = Clenil Modulite and it is a Preventer, the other is Blue = Salbutamol and is a Reliever. (And they "slightly" raise Blood Sugars at times, but not a great amount).
